They have been solid lately--and maybe they see something.  I remember when it looked as though the safest pick in the draft in 2021, Sewell, was going to bust--he struggled early.  Now one of the best if not the best.

I also loved Tyleik and thought a team would grab him R1 so I’m not surprised. Some pundits were, but I think it’s a stellar pick.

Two or three dozen huddlers have obtained my personal information from DOGE teen hackers and contacted me about today.   First, I think the Panthers will draft and Edge in round 2, but since there is so much depth at the position with little variance, they could draft S before Edge, depending on how the draft unfolds.  Watch the Ohio State Edges, Swinson, or Scourton.  I fear they will panic and trade up; there are at least 10 Edges who could help us; let them come to you, Dan (he is one of the people who got my personal info from the SS Website).

But there are some good safeties, and I think they really like Sanker, who could be in the fourth round.  If Watts is there in the second, the Panthers could take him over an edge.  He is special.

So much depends on the sources you lean on--I am very excited about the edge group today--more than yesterday, to be honest, if you consider fit and value.

The best moment of last night

Nah, I just heard about the best moment from last night and it's something nobody will ever see.

The mother of the Steelers pick was in the hospital on life support and he was able to get to the hospital last night to tell her he was drafted before she passed away shortly after.

Him getting to tell his mother that he was a 1st round pick was the best moment from last night in regards to the draft, no question about it.  I can't imagine what that family is going through, just unimaginable to have the high's and low's of all that in one night, just awful.

    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all.  both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total.    The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45.  Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer.    To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking.  And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter.  Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can.  For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41.    I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.
    • Alabama money line is a big one.
    • I'm just letting everyone know he's on the list in the second tier, not that I think it gets there because Donovan wants the job.  UNC is waiting on Lloyd and Arizona's run to end, if that doesn't work out then Donovan is likely the new head coach.
