I don't follow the league well enough to know how many teams in front of the Panthers run 3-4.

Im taken green is not on their list, that doesn't leave enough high ranked edges to reach 57. I hate to move up any.....

FYI best rumors Ive seen there will be an offense run to start the 2nd. That should help some quality D fall to Carolina.

The more offensive players coming off the board the better.

I believe it. If browns stay put, they will pick 2. The whole gambit should go on a run- WRs, RBs, TEs and maybe even 2-3 QBs.

Teams know the meat of this draft is defense.

The theme for tonight should be to increase the number of day 2 picks from 2 to 3. They better not come away from tonight with only 1 draft pick.

I just would like that tomorrow these picks made as much sense to me as yesterday's pick does. I was as surprised as everyone else but open to whatever going into it without a fav and from everything I've seen from people whose opinions carry some weight with me I'm thrilled with our first pick. The guy has the potential to open our offense up and allow everyone else the chance to shine as he's a true X and possibly a great one.

We often forget that our GM and HC were rookies too and they have already demonstrated that they learn by fooling the entire universe with their first pick. That alone has me saying wtf do I know, let's roll. Keep pounding bros. That first pick impresses the hell out of me. We look like a team that get's it finally. The only team who impressed me more yesterday was Cleveland of all places. Maybe this is an effect from climate change. But in Carolina we will call it culture change.

I have high expectations for this team moving forward now. Last season's improvement with this FA and first pick??? Dudes, I'm all in.

Kool-Aid for free!!!

The Panther's are offering boys so drink up.

Look for a trade into the top of the 2nd, Panthers need an impact full player at edge and no one with even a 2nd round grade will be available by 57

I just hope we don’t touch next years picks.  Trade all the later ones in this draft…whatever

So

You Ok with trading next years 2nd and this years 3rd to move up 20 spots?

I sure as hell don't.

This isn't the best draft, next years is QB heaven and I feel 3x the value of this draft.

Brandt and Dan just need to extend DJ and have some patience.

If they trade up watch the names still at 57, should be heavy defense.

    • Apparently some in the mediasphere are blowing up LaMelo's accident in his Hummer. Scott Fowler who never wanted us to draft him did Scott Fowler things in an interview and unfortunately LaMelo took the bait. Much bigger concern are these awful games from both him and Brandon Miller. And while I am certainly a believer that Miller has plenty of time to get it figured out the reality is we've been saying the same thing about LaMelo's at times very hot and cold game for what seems like forever now as he is going on into his sixth year. Regardless of the short lived win streak which feels more like a mirage than anything honestly. The Hornets should still leave every available option on the table after the season.
    • They will be getting the opportunity.... 5-0 usa after 2
    • Well it's not exactly new information that you don't have to draft a QB in the top 5 to compete for a championship. But the poorly run organizations end up with the first three picks. Most of the QB's drafted there never stand a chance. And then you have teams like the Panthers led by the Tepper's that would rather make a big splash to serve their own egos and get talked about in the media for several weeks by trading all the way up than actually being intelligent and strategic and staying put. Worst outcome in that is if you miss you can try again without mortaging your future. But there is another layer in all this. The league is changing again. Even a guy like Darnold with all his physical tools every box checked in that area did very little in the Super Bowl. Seattle had a stout roster all around. Same thing with the Eagles when they blew out the Chiefs. Yet here we are stuck with the tiniest QB in the league.
