Also unless im blind NIKISHIN HAS PLAYED MUCH BETTER THAN MORROW hes big fast and Physical

Nikishin is out there carrying Orlov.

Morrow hasn’t been bad he’s just not really all that great at anything. Best case scenario is he becomes a Ghost type of player but his skating needs to improve.

Panthers seem to be tired while the Canes seem to be just doing their thing. Wonder if exhaustion is starting to affect them. Either way whatever happened in-between games 2 and 3 seems to be working for the most part.

Both. There was definitely some sort of come to Jesus moment for the team yesterday!

Before he got to the states, I was a little bit worried we were hyping up Nikki too much and he would be a bit of a letdown.

Nah. He's that dude!

Its really simple TBH the D isnt pinching as much and they are playing more disciplined and "reverse pinching" by falling back and boxing out when they try to get in front of Kochetkov I've seen  Orlov and Nikishin each a foot on either side MUSCLING them out when they try to get in front and screen.

Morrow hasn't had much of a chance to be bad he only has a minutes of ice time while everyone else has at least 13 and a half.

His play so far is making Rod look like a real dumbass...   he wouldn't even be on the ice unless we had the Walker injury

Rod’s loyalty and stubbornness will be what ends his tenure in Carolina.

I think he’ll be given one more year after this year with a retooled roster (I expect the Canes to go big game hunting in the offseason) but if he doesn’t make the cup final next year then it’s over for him.

Unless he bring this series back to Carolina tied and makes this a series... I'm not sure he's back next season.

What is with Carolina teams hiring coaches that are stubbornly set in their ways and unable to change?
