Christian Rozeboom broke up a pass over the middle by Bryce Young in 11 on 11. UDFA DB Isaac Gifford nearly came up with the pick. #Panthers

11s work: #Panthers QB Bryce Young fires a pass over the middle that’s deflected by LB Christian Rozeboom. The ball flies in the air and then slips through S Isaac Gifford’s hands for a near-INT.

Young follows that up with a slant to Adam Thielen that goes for a big gain.

Mike Jackson then picks off Young.

James Mitchell with a catch off a Bryce throw in the seam. Then Mike Jackson picks off BY9 in the flat on a target to RB Rico Dowdle. Mike read it the whole way. #Panthers

Mike Jackson picks off Bryce Young in the EZ. Jackson ran all the way to the other end zone. He would not have been able to do that had it been a real game. Still, nice play.

We’ve only been to five open workouts but it sure seems like the #Panthers prefer Brady Christensen as an OT as opposed to an IOL at least based on the small sample size.

I get that his measurables day IOL but his playing style and skill set say OT. I'd use him as a backup swing tackle.

Should have signed him to a longer term deal to replace Moton after this year

Yosh Nijmon is basically the only other guy they have that has shown he can play tackle behind the starters. It makes sense that Brady's being used more at Tackle with Mays and Zavala improving and Corbett being healthy. Those guys will play center or back up our guards more than likely.

Yep. It's the right move IMO. We have more depth at IOL and BC's skill set plays better at OT despite his measurables saying IOL.

they have to be grooming him to compete for it.  I think a few of us were saying the depth at G and need at OT would pull him out there--he is probably at his best at T, but we hope his best is good enough.  that is why I would hesitate to draft older players--they can't take 3 years to develop.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
