Thursday joint practice tweets (@HOU)

Sheena is in Houston and I'm assuming some of the other beat writers. Expecting things to pick up between 9am ~ 10am. I've got a meeting during that time but will try to catch the thread up (as needed) afterwards!

since it's in Texas it may be a little later than that our time.  I've also got a meeting, will be home by 1:30.  Big day with a joint practice that can get testy.  Atl was in a joint practice Tuesday and Penix threw a long TD, words were exchanged and a melee broke out, Penix got thrown to the ground.  He's ok, but when they go after a red jersey in practice, it can get ugly

Jaycee Horn will not be practicing today. Always seemed like he was a longshot.
Pretty good idea he will be bringing the energy from the sideline.

Giants-Jets apparently got chippy too after Tyrone Tracy Jr got thrown down. Punches thrown and everything.

This time of year always has me on edge due to possible injuries. Sure, they're playing hurt by the end of the season regardless but this is the time of year when you see some guys just go  down bad (ex: ACL, Achilles, etc) or get stuck with an ailment that plagues them the entire seson (ex: hamstring, turf toe, etc)

ILB Trevin Wallace (personal) didn’t travel with the #Panthers to Houston. He was excused and will travel today. He is likely to play Saturday.
