Yeah, I won't be surprising at all if Arch wouldn't even go #1 next year. A lot of people are putting a lot of stock into a last name and a tiny sample size of plays. MUCH more than former than the latter. If his last name was Smith he'd just be that guy who was a #1 overall QB recruit a few years ago who has been riding the pine behind a fringe NFL QB prospect for some reason.

I'm indifferent about Manning as a fan, but I do think he's immensely overrated.

So Andy Dalton is already hurt?

Whew buddy.

Why would we want to have a developmental QB with potential on the depth chart? Bryce is fragile and Tepper committed this franchise to Bryce.

IMO we should have had Bryce competing with other young QBs since day one. Warned about Bryce before the draft. Dalton & Plummer does nothing to hedge against a bust in Bryce.

Just got back from golfing and see Bryce was 0/2 and from reading the thread sounds like 2 drops by JT and TMac. But we’re talking about drafting Arch next season? What is happening

Same poo Bryce did before his miracle run last season.  Running around like a chicken with his head cut off, seems frazzled, missing open receivers, then the receivers he threw to he threw to poorly.  Nothing to be hopeful or optimistic about whatsoever about the starting offense.

Then Dalton came in, and as I said earlier in the thread, it’s time to face it a between the 3 guys we have at the position, QB is the biggest problem on offense.  Period.

It also costs assets that could go to numerous other holes. If it were 2009 and you felt like you were a QB away, great, but look at the other holes. For whatever you think of Young (clearly, nothing) he's still proven more than 90% of the starters on defense. That's not good.
