He's doing the most important parts, which are the interviews (and arguably the wonderlic, but dunno about that), and he's throwing at his pro day.

Honestly, I suspect that if Carolina keeps the first pick they will draft Newton. If they trade down, even just a spot or two, they may still try to take him but it will probably more of a BPA situation between a few guys.

Have you been watching the NFL the last 2 or 3 years? More and more teams are taking more snaps in the Gun/Spread formation (didn't Manning take like 3/4 of his snaps from the gun last year and Brady has been living in the spread for a while). I don't know if we are going that direction but I hope we are because a lot of teams are finding a lot of success by doing so.
