I think the group of people that believe that are you and Etienne's momma.

That's fine. He just looks like a pure running back. Dowdle can do everything Chubba can do, and he's got some hands on him, which I'm sure you'd love to catch if you don't keep my mom's name outcha mouth.

You are missing that they literally don't have to trade him. He is under contract and they can franchise tag him for two years if they so desire.

Why do you think the sports books have the odds heavily weighted towards being a Bengal? Any of this seem familiar? Maybe.....Tee Higgins?

The fact that they are leaking this unreasonable ask is basically telegraphing that they don't really plan to get rid of him unless someone is stupid enough to meet their ask price.

No I’m not missing it, I understand that. What I’m saying is they are so needy now, that I think they will part with him for immediate assistance. Zac Taylor already has a reputation for starting slow which is the reason they missed the playoffs last year.

Yeah they can just do nothing and he can just sit out, but they are out of money and need help now, so consider us JG Wentworth.

What they are asking for in a trade isn't going to fix their team in 2025. You don't throw out wildly high trade offers out of desperation.

Also, we don't have anything we can sell reasonably without doing far more harm to us than good by getting him.

Why? He’s done literally nothing.

He may be the most overrated JAG in recent memory. I don’t get the love affair for this guy.

Who is hyping Demani? I think it’s more a situation where some think a relatively unknown player may contribute in a depth role.

Pats would need to INCLUDED like a 2nd or 3rd in order for a team to take over his insane 35 million in guarantees. Just like when the browns traded for the Brock Osweiler trade.

No team is claiming him. NO ONE.

The best bet is to work out a salary % like pats pay the remaining 70% and new team 30%.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
