Not throwing at the combine was the giveaway

It tells me you're not a competitor.

You don't want to go out there and put your numbers up for all to see against your peers? Weak.

If you're "competing" with nothing to gain you might just be dumb. The NFL has devalued the combine for top prospects by showing them through their drafting that they don't need to see them do the combine drills.

The guy that drafted him is gone.

The guy that didn't bring in valid competition for him only has his job because he agreed to enable the Bryce Young experiment.

I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or arguing my point for me.

Bryce stinks.  Our front office is WAY worse than he is.

The Saban/Alabama effect is why so many in the media still refuse to even vaguely criticize him.

But someone like Cam Newton got the daggers 24/7 🤔

Cam had more talent in his damaged arm than Young has in his entire 5'10 frame.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
