I think sellers is a dude..

I'm on the fence about Sellers. I wish SCar had a better OL to give him more of a chance but I don't know. I'm not out on him but I'm definitely not sold either.

I expect him to enter the draft next year because someone will take a chance on his talent in the 1st but I'd honestly prefer he play another year of college and hit the portal and find a better situation. Or for SCar to hit the portal and build an OL.

I would hate to be getting the current product, is what I will say.

Is he a dude or is he KJ Jefferson?

Yeah, he's a tough evaluation. He obviously has all the physical tools but is he an NFL QB? So much of the evaluation is going to come down to the interview process and that's the part of the process that we have no insight into beyond the rumor mill. For every Josh Allen there's probably a dozen Anthony Richardsons and you have to use that interview process to figure out who's who.

Now Sellers is a better passer at this stage than either of those guys were, but you get what I'm saying

To be fair I don't think the book is closed on Anthony Richardson. I probably would rather have him today than Bryce because of upside. He is still extremely young. Decision making and completion percentage can be improved holding a clipboard. Bryce isn't growing 7 inches getting half a second faster or growing a rocket arm tomorrow. I always say give me the tools you can't teach and let coaching figure out what to do with the rest.

Now him stay healthy is a different can of worms.. but I don't think he's unsalvageable.

Yeah, that's why I say KJ Jefferson. Similar profile and success earlyish. NFL Draft radar guy and then it drops off precipitously to him being a UDFA in this past draft.

Oh, Richardson has a MUCH higher talent ceiling. That's for sure and was always obvious. I was out on Richardson the minute he asked to come out of the game because he was tired and I think the Colts were too. They probably should've just traded him for whatever they could've gotten at that point.

I mean that's a huge turn off.. but a swift kick in the ass or a vet coaching him up I think is a much easier solution than fixing whatever is going on with Bryce.

I'm worried about next year's QB crop but I'm not in panic mode about it yet. There's still time for some guys to stand out.

The issue with modern college QBs is how poorly most are prepared for the NFL game.  It was hard enough when they were getting developed and coached to be pros.  Complicating matters is they are expected to step in day 1 if drafted high enough.  Increasing bust rates.

I haven't thrown Bryce away yet.. tho I have lowered my potential outcome for him. I don't think he's ever going to be a top 6 QB.. he can be good enough to drive you to the prom as long as you give him a chaperone.. but really after all the stank that was on Sanders..

Dude fell to what the 5th round.. Cleveland took a QB before him and circled back a round or 2 later before we had the idea to take him as a back up or safety net. I don't think you should ever not scout quarterbacks just off the potential of possibly trading one for higher compensation like the Patriots did with Joe Milton. Just for trade packages and compensation you should always be grooming training or preparing a young late round QB for such situations.

I don't understand the thinking of we have Bryce and Dalton we don't even need to think about another quarterback we're like set for generations here we're good..

Top 6 QB? He won’t be a starter after this season.

I'd definitely rather have Richardson than Bryce (and thought that way at the Draft too). Neither would currently be starting for me though.

Sellers is more explosive than Jefferson, no? Jefferson being bigger.
