Some just don't lift the team enough, others do (Allen/Mahomes/etc.). But it can be a gradual process (not always instant) where maybe they started as complimentary early and grew into a stud the team eventually built around.

I mean, from a general perspective, I think you're absolutely right, but there are lots of times that I can't help juxtaposing Bryce against D.J. Moore and all those picks. I know that I have to let it go, but I still care. As long as we've learned the lesson and don't double down, I guess I'll be good. Bryce has given us backup level results.
