Basically.  Rico for 2 weeks did unimaginable.  It’s not really a winning gameplan to think he can go for 200+ and lift all boats.

we don’t have a mid passing game and we don’t have a mid D.  Only so much a run game can do.  We are still a bottom 3rd team.

schedule about to get real

Oh yeah, teams are goi g to be able to shut our running game down, especially since they don’t have to fear our passing very much.
That is coming. And I want to see it happen and see how Bryce deals with it.
We are still better off with Rico as lead dog.

We have seen it though and how Bryce deals with it.  It’s most of his starts.  Even in wins like Atl and the Jets….bottom tier pass game virtually every week

but yeah, Rico is the best RB.  We should basically be the Wilks Panthers even when down (which got us back into the Miami game).  We got back into that game by not asking Bryce to

I called "seven games" from the get-go, and we just may get there, but I didn't expect blowout losses. I expected to see some marked improvement, especially offensively, in losses and wins, and that's not necessarily what's happening.

Yeah I have seen more than enough of it but the idea is maybe he can upgrade his game or alternately, provide evidence that he can’t.

Bryce had enough starts and chances…..to know his ceiling is just far too low to be a starting QB/plan.  He is a backup QB

You and and I and many others have come to that determination, but I do t think the decision makers are caught up to us yet.
They have to be hit over the head with the truth.

Now I will say that by the same token if I am wrong, I need him to hit me over the head before I will pay attention.

That makes two of us.

His absolute ceiling is Brock Purdy. And it’s going to be hard to pay him plus a defense, plus the people we are going to have to put around him. It’s just not feasible

This blowout was on Canales for not playing the hot RB along with shat playcalling, Dalton playing like a seventy year old man, and the defense couldn't tackle anyone.

This QB salary market, and for that matter every other position, does not need to be equal across the league like the NBA tries to do it.
No way an average player on a bad team deserves the deserves near the compensation level of the top players simply because he is a 1st stringer.
But these agents are all about ‘setting the market’ as if they are steak or beer or an automobile that gives you consistent consumer experience. If that makes any sense.

Those are pretty much the talking points about the loss. Maybe injuries. But they were more just icing on the cake. Not reasons.
