The team is too finesse

They try to play physical for one period Then go away from it because they can’t sustain it. The blueprint has been made with Florida and Rod and Talsky refuse to get grit and size. Not to mention Rod‘s dumb ass decisions going with Freddi over and over will cripple this team. For the second half of the year they’re gonna have to trade for some grit and size or it’s the same poo over and over.

The blue line is doing all it can under the circumstances. RBA keeps switching pairings, among other things. Miller has been very good alongside Slavin, not so much alongside Ghost, Chatty and Reilly, all of whom have been paired with him. What do you expect?

RBA peaked a couple years ago. Laviolette is available, or go get Cooper or Maurice.

Still looking for a 2C.

Demote Freddie and roll with Bussi and Kochetkov.

"Too Finesse" is a mild way to put it

I would say weak as wet tissue paper

Because they are just a collection of individuals, just going through the motions

Someone gets cheapshotted and injured, why should they risk suspension or fine for a teamate ?

Rod has instituted this weak mr nice guy forgive and forget culture, resulting in real teams owning us in the playoffs, Toronto put up more of a fight to Florida than we did last playoffs, let that sink in

When has miller played with Slavin?  Was it the fist game of the year and that’s it? When Slavin came back he played with Boom.

Your opinions tend to go polar overboard when we win or lose..

Perspective and sample size.

Nah. I call what I see on the ice.  And yeah. Most people’s opinions do change with wins and losses. ESP with utter collapses on the ice. Everything I’m saying is facts and shared by many.

Also, we are all a little crazy on here with different opinions of the team. Truthfully, most are right on some form of fashion.

we all agree Rod is stubborn. We all agree the team needs physical scoring size along with a 1C/2C. Whichever your flavor. Goalie is still a major issue unless Bussi is the guy and Rod actually plays him. And I wouldn’t be opposed to some physicality on defense.

Side note, it kills me to see necas top 5 in points.  Rod better win a cup or at least make it to the finals or I believe his seat is gonna get hot.

We don't need any help making the playoffs, and Necas disappears in the playoffs.  He's too much of a finesse player and the league wants goons to win.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
