Seahawks or Rams

I don’t think it matters. Just off the intangible superstitious stuff, we are screwed.

We have the Seahawks’ superiority over us that we just witnessed.
We have beat the Rams once doubt we do it twice.

Our up down or win lose pattern/streak is still strong and would be intact if we were to beat TB meaning we are down the next game.

This is a tough one. Darnold did basically nothing against us but Stafford was able to move the ball on our defense. But that Seattle defense is elite.

I think I still would rather see Darnold because this is the time of the year where he shines the dimmest.

Neither game is a favorable matchup, that is for sure.

This is my thinking as well.

Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.

I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.

Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.

If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.

Keep in mind it would be their 3rd consecutive road game.

@ Carolina

Thats a lot of miles and time without a home game. Their last home game was December 18th

If we played Seattle 10 times, I could see us winning 3 of those. If we played the Rams 10 times, I feel like our one win a few weeks ago would be our only one. I mean it was a perfect storm and we still almost lost. Meanwhile we got tons of bad breaks/self inflicted wounds in Seattle and it was really only a big win due to turnovers that gave them short fields (plus Horn's facemask that turned a punt into points).

First off we play tomorrow not Sunday, second thats not true even if we lose if the Falcons beat the saints we are in.

    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
    • I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
