I may be new to College football but I don’t recall a time when Oregon was known as a defensive juggernaut, Alabama however…

And I recall numerous seasons in which Oregon was known as an offensive juggernaut when Alabama was not. What’s your point?

Don’t recall that either, most years it is shoved down everyone’s throat that Alabama has the best of everything, ask a Bama fan, oh wait

Bama definitely hasn’t had the best of anything for the last few years, but somehow, they’re still the program everyone talks about. I get it though. Their run under Saban was historic, so everyone wants to kick them when they’re down.

People keep talking about them because that’s all the talking heads talk about.  For instance, just this year the committee said that a conference loser should not be penalized, they left out “only if you are Alabama” because the other 2 did and a 3 loss team didn’t drop a damn spot!  It’s sickening.  The world does not revolve around that shitty institution that gave us Bryce Young.  And now that everyone can legally pay players I hope to God they never sniff another championship…no offense.

I get it. Same way I felt about the Patriots during their run.

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
