Clearly the rest of the league knows more about good coaching than the average fan

If we can get the teacher in Raheem Morris, over the pupil in Evero, who actually learned under Morris, I’m not understanding the issue.  The system, the personnel needed, etc., is all the same.  I feel Morris is an upgrade.

Not saying any coach is perfect.  99% of everyone was ready for Ron to gtfoh before he was forced into transforming into Riverboat when he was a week away from being fired, and he eventually became the greatest coach in our franchise history as a result.  He was horrible for a couple years before that, and still struggled with a few things after that.  So, yes, coaches can change and grow, but just food for thought, we are sitting home because:

That statement is a straight up lie. I guarantee we were playing zone most of the game like we do every game. We have 2 good corners and a bunch of scrubs and only 1 good corner for a portion of the 4th because Horn was out.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, and I don’t think we suddenly became a man team this week.  We’ve primarily ran zone under Evero.  But, just sharing it.  I think it is also unfair to not factor in that we had to account for Jaycee going out when he did.  But bottom line being, the way the defense was called down the stretch yesterday cost us the game.  I also acknowledge for objectivity, when Mike Jack was asked about going prevent he said he wasn’t talking about that bc all the armchair QBs don’t know what coverages are, what they have to account for, and they don’t so this for a living.  So there’s that.

Wilks = Evero, anyone interviewing either of them is checking a box.

Aaron Glen is already a head coach, not sure why you listed him.

Raheem Morris isn't going to be interviewed by Atlanta who just fired him and isn't rumored to be talking to Vegas.  Meaning those two franchises need a black coach to check the box.  Hopefully Evero at least makes them fly him on the private jet and gets a good steak dinner out of it.

I would want some laps dances thrown in myself. Its Vegas after all.

JC wasn't on the field the 1st time we played them and it didn't matter. He cannot use that as an excuse.

My bad on Glen I thought it was a foregone conclusion he would be fired for the jets season last year. And no team doesn't need a black defensive coordinator. Vance JosephTodd Bowles, Raheem Morris, Leslie Frazier, and recently, Patrick Graham Raiders and Brian Floresare also available

Please Raiders…  please.

the sad truth is that if separated from the coordinator duties I DO believe that he is a capable leader. His problem is simply his own scheme.  If he stays out of the way and lets a DC do their job he can be a decent HC.

No doubt, I think Ever is a leader of men.  I think he’s a super smart guy and very likeable and relateable.  All those qualities translate to being a fantastic HC.  I have a feeling he will be a much better HC than DC.

100%. Its hard for many to wrap their head around, some guys are just leaders.  Hell, Sean McDermott is a far better HC than he was a DC and Sean Payton (for as much as I think he's a garbage human) is a way better HC than he was an OC.

If we don’t get rid of Evero this cycle, which is likely he stays. I wonder about Jonathan Cooley. He seems to be who Evero is developing, Wash has already been there and done that.

Wonder if a team snags up Cooley as DC. I personally wouldn’t mind the 3rd rounder
