Creating havoc without blitzing

Talking in flattering terms about our OL should be banned until they can stonewall 4 guys. Any OL. I mean, 5 on 4 and plus a TE and a back, you still leak like a sieve, you aren’t getting it done. Should be embarrassed.

This is about our inability to create any kind of pressure on the qb.. Even when we blitz

Its all about getting pressure without blitzing tbh.  That's what made the Panthers defense so good in 2003 and 2015.  If you have linemen that straight up beat the other team, its easy street.  It was good enough for Eli to beat Tom in the Super Bowl twice.

Sorry I flashed on all the 4 man rushes that defeated us. 
 

As far as our D take me back to a 4-3 and the guys from 2003 era. 4 could do it. I know under Tepper we are doomed to rot with this 3-4.

We pretty much rely on Derek Brown to wreck their offensive line single-handedly in hopes someone makes it through. 

We are also terrified of being historically bad against the run, again.

Of course, having Julius Peppers makes a colossal difference in that situation.

Maybe drop the damn 3-4. I don't think our personnel is as bad for a switch as most. Our inside linebackers suck anyways so no big loss there. Scourton can play in a 4-3 and princely didn't do anything in the 3-4 anyway. So we wouldn't make a change because one third round pick wouldn't make the cut?
