Quick played a hella game facing 44 SOG but Ehlers to Staal for the EN goal closed the door, and Buss Stop with the shutout. Solid win.

The Rags are a trainwreck. If there was ever such a thing as a 2-0 beatdown, this was it. NY had zero serious scoring chances while Quick probably played his best game of the season.

Canes collected a post and 2 crossbars, adding to their ridiculous number of near misses. 

Carolina allowed just 16 shots on goal, including a stretch from 5 minutes remaining in the 1st period to 9 minutes left in the 2nd where Bussi didn't see an SOG.
