Cam's bad day the WR's fault.

I don't think he was blaming the receivers directly, just making a lame excuse and trying to explain away his lack of timing. I would honestly be more concerned about his comments referring to "selling cleats and lifestyle apparel"... poor choice of words at a bad time.

I saw his interview with the NFL network post workout and I don't didn't think he came across as demeaning to his targets at all, he just basically just admitted he wasn't in synch, timing routes are difficult and that he has alot of work to do in that area. He also said he his comments the past week were a reality check and he realizes "the NFL doesn't need you".

Not saying saying I want the Panthers to draft him, but I thought he came across well and this article just seems to be aimed at stirring crap.

The only quote with any kind of meaning in the entire article.

In all seriousness, how do you do that if you actually play quarterback? I like that he acknowledges the error, but what exactly did he underestimate? The importance of working with receivers?

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
