At this point its Sadiq or bust... A

WE HAVE A 5'9"QB THAT AVG LESS THAN 200YRDS A GAME! A TE is not going to move the needle one way or another IMO. If we had a legit threat at QB I'd say sure but nah man a TE is not going to help BY. We NEED to have the best OL just to give mini mouse at QB the possibility of success.

Wtf do people think a fast, not completely well rounded TE is going to do to fix that problem when he wont be able throw it because we have holes still along the offensive line.

We already have a OL. Adding a weapon is definitely what the offense needs. Our weakest position on offense is probably right maybe center at this point. Don't see a first round center so tight it is in my opinion.

These “tight ends” don’t really play tight end Sadiq has like 0 catches as an inline tight end. They did a ton of HBack Screens and wheel routes and then they lined him up in the slot to run a straight line past the LB and dropped it in to him. There’s no refined tight end routes with a release off the line. Same with Stowers, you’re looking at super athletic Tommy Tremble’s. Don’t get tricked, watch the tape.

Everything I saw from the tape seems like what the doctor ordered to me. I saw a super hunger willing blocker. A guy who catches with his hands a mover in space. Hard to bring down, I saw a dog.. he reeks of what Morgan describes he looks at in terms of a prospect.  Super athletic tommy Trimble?

Trimble is more of a blocker... If you had a super athletic tommy Trimble wouldn't that be a good tight end? Not that he was foot speed slow but tremble isn't in this guy's class of athlete. Frankly comparing the fastest tightens prospect ever to Trimble is very insulting.

Sounds like your complaint is more about Bryce than the player. So by your opinion what should we do just suck on offense and hope for more defensive wins? Bryce is fine.. not elite not bad. I think you can win with him if he has enough help around him. Having a 6'4 240 4.38 tight end matched up with linebackers and or corners seems like a valuable chess piece to me. I don't care if he's an H back or whatever.

The guy is a football player who displays off the charts athleticism which is exactly what this offense lacks. Him and leggette probably timed close to the same 40 except he's bigger and has a higher vertical and can stretch the field and plays tight end. I honestly don't see what's not to love.

You just spent your entire cap on defensive upgrades and saying you need a dr or nickel corner yeah that helps this offense that was struggling most of the year

Yes, 1st rd te is pointless

Rams ran more 13 personnel than any team in the league last season. Seahawks were 4th. He gives this offense the ability to do things it cannot currently do, and you really can’t buy great tight end production on the open market.

people trying to diminish the value of it are wrong.

I doubt the raider thought bowers was pointless, I doubt the colts think Warren is pointless, I doubt the bears think Loveland is pointless. A weapon is a weapon. I could carless about the label you give him. The NFL has moved to a more position less approach. If the guy can play and has unique traits the better. Saying no tight end first round is sort of short sighted.

This I agree 💯. I think I would be amazed if he is there when we pick, but the people on this board are saying he isn't worth a first round pick at 19.
