Canales doesn't sound all the way sold on Bryce

He has long ago ceased to offer hope he was ever worthy of the 1.1.  Now it is just, can he be mid?

Yep, the Panthers powers that be seem desperate to convince themselves he can clear the bare minimum bar of demanding a legit franchise QB contract. Canales seems to be laying the groundwork here of building the case that all of Bryce's shortcomings are still there and even more glaring than you may have thought while his strengths aren't nearly as strong as you had hoped and aren't near enough to make up for the lack of pure physical tools. When you have historically anomalous lack of measurables you need historically anomalous positive intangibles to make up for it. That was always issue with Bryce as a prospect. Like Parcells said when evaluating him, "he better walk on water".

The natural progression of ANY QB is to take more control of the offense.  Which is all Dave said. He doesn't have a narrative to push. He is says what is the natural thing to say in this situation whether it's Bryce, or any other QB.

THE THREAD TITLE ALONE TWISTS THE NARRATIVE.

so yes, many of you refuse to acknowledge anything other than your screwed perspective, for whatever reason, when it comes to Bryce.

Y'all have a great Easter.

Same for you Bryce Truthers. Bryce is not a good QB. The coaches know this. But if they don’t and they strap this team with a QB like Bruce for 4 more year they need to be fired.

I enjoy being truthful. Although that means being unbiased. Which most on here are incapable of being unbiased.

Obviously Bryce isn't necessarily picking things up as fast as Canales would like, and I can only assume that Canales is making comparisons to Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield.

Geno smith and baker mayfield were both considered busts on their first team.

Name the percentage of IT'S that take that kind of control of the offense in year 1. ... in year 2.... in year 3....ever.

Modern NFL fans have no clue.  Every modern QB is rushed onto the field to take advantage of their rookie contract.  This doesn't change that fact that it takes 3 years for that to happen normally, without any set backs.

By the way, you guys that want to keep labeling me as a Bryce defender...your weak ass poo doesn't bother me.  It's obvious that y'all are biased.

Once again.  Have a blessed Easter.
