Alright fug it let's draft a WR. LaMelo Ball has broken me. I'm all in on Bryce Young. Nothing left in this city.

Draft a WR who spends more time in rehab than on the field.  He Ickey, and Brooks can ride tandem bikes at practice

I remember people used to make jokes about Jonathan Stewart and the practice bike. But when it came time to suit up he was a stud. We just need motivated talent. Focus on the fundamentals and stop trying to shoehorn prospects onto your big board because they have local ties to the Carolinas. Just draft the best football players.

You can argue that if you start trying to predict injuries, you are wrong every time.

Oh of course. It's an inevitability for any team. The best teams mitigate the severity of it by filling out their depth by maximizing the draft. You can't expect a homerun every round. Each draft there are low key prospects who end up leaving at least half the league with regret. What you don't do is use the draft to take unnecessary risks like giving up significant capital for already damaged goods. I can only hope that our decision makers have learned hard lessons. This draft is either going to be the beginning of something special or more of the same. I wait with bated breath.

Kayden McDonald would be hard to pass up too I’m ngl

either way this is going to be fun comes draft day

Totally.  As much as I like him, similar to others, only certain IDLs get that top-20 treatment.  Takes a lot and he's kind of in that fringe-1st range for me.  Excellent talent but I have a itch there will be better available at other spots.

I'm not opposed to a WR.  Everyone has pretty much just assumed that we have a surefire star with Jalen Coker after a few good plays/games throughout his career.  I, for one, actually agree that Jalen Coker is going to be a star, but I'm also old enough to remember Keary Colbert and Kelvin Benjamin.  I don't oppose stacking the WR room until we build out a roster of proven, reliable pass-catchers for whomever the QB of this team is in 2027.
