It's between Proctor and Lomu at #19 if we go tackle.  Why draft a RT?  It makes no sense, Moton isn't the problem and he's under contract the longest our OTs even though that's only two years.

If we go OT in the 1st, it NEEDS to be someone who can play LT.

Taking a pure RT means they only see the field if Moton gets hurt, and I can never get behind taking a player in the 1st round that you legitimately hope doesn't see a single snap all season long.

I'd be okay with drafting Lomu. Proctor is gonna bust.

SOMEONE will trade into 30-32 to take him at the worst, so I think if a team like the Cardinals or Jets fell in love with him during the pre-draft process, they'd be looking to trade into the early 20's to get him.  If both teams think the other have the same plans, 19 is a great place for them to jump up to so they can grab him.

I put it at like 1% chance of happening, but that's why I said it's my dream scenario.

As if Bryce shows he's not the guy, we have two 1sts next year to fix QB.  And if he shocks me and shows he can be the long term guy, it gives us 2 firsts to put some hopefully day 1 impact players out there for a legit SB push.

There's only 2 teams left that are in serious need of a young qb right now. That's the Jets and the Cardinals. I'm not sure they want to part with what it would take to trade with us. One of the bottom 5 teams will trade with them if it happens.

They surely would take either of those if they are there. Everything depends on when the LT run starts. Depending on who you ask there's only 3, maybe 4 of them in the 1st round.

I agree, but since he's lost a lot of weight the tides of opinion have changed in his favor.

I think the Rams are a very real possibility to see trade into the back end of the 1st to take him.

All reports are that they really like him, and Stafford doesn't have all too much longer left in him, if they like him as much as the rumors, I can see them giving up their 1st next year to get back in and take him to sit and learn from Stafford for a year or two before taking over.

But all it takes is 2 teams and it can create a trade bidding war to make sure you get back into the 1st before the other does.

Yes and #1 and #2 will be gone long before #19.

Dream scenario. A video of Styles in a cloudy gas mask is released 10 minutes before the draft begins and he falls to us at 19. 

After Styles, I'd take Downs. 

My ultimate been smoking way to much dream scenario, the Giants give us 5th and 10th for XL to pair with Nabors, we draft Styles and Downs.

They've met with or worked out 2 pure RT and both have be projected as 1st round talent at one point or another. They've also met with 2 projected LT's who will supposedly go before out pick.

This is my choice as well. The Cardinals, Jets--neither wants to go home empty-handed.

I think the Rams will get Stafford's replacement next year. Better class overall.
