Yeah but Bryce was him and Nicole's little baby first pick, these kinda people can afford to ride this kinda thing out to try and prove themselves right until they can think of an excuse to move on that they don't have to carry any blame for, then finally move on when they should have done it way sooner but their egos wouldn't let them.

I hate the way that By gets validated because we sucked our way into the playoffs after blowing multiple important games, just to lose one on prime time

And totally whiffed at the end when 30 or 35 yards or something gets us a FG shot. 
My memory isn’t what it used to be but all the Bryce defending that was done around that play sequence, was misplaced IMO. The last play, the pass was decent and not caught and you can fairly put that on the WR.
The first three plays? Not good at all. Really not good. Serious chance to make honest to goodness big time throws, fumbled.

I would put that last play on the coaches not giving Jimmy Horn enough reps during the regular season so he was playing in a playoff game cold. The only WR on the roster that can get open in the slot in a split second and they just had him run jet sweeps for his first 4 months

I wasn’t real happy with Canales about that entire last series.
 

I can’t think of which game it was but I could swear we had the same thing happen in the regular season where we were up against it with a chance but little time left and we saw four plays just about like those. Same result. Everything was done in panic mode it seemed to me.

He also gets validated on the two Rams wins and we saw the Rams literally replace the entire secondary this offseason as it was their Achilles heel. He’s gotta prove he can do it against everyone and win the games that really count without backing into the playoffs.

Personally, I’m ready to move on because nothing I’ve seen in the first three years tells me he can lead us deep in the layoffs.

3 of the 4 NFC South teams finished with same 8-9 record,and the Saints finished with 6 wins, 2 of those came from sweeping us. It was the very definition of a flukey finish. Got to think the narrative would be drastically different if we didn't statistically eek out that division championship.

I agree that DMo is getting undervalued in this ranking. However, other than a couple of big-time FA moves, most of what he has done has not been flashy. And flashy gets you the attention.

I just felt like his rankings in general were kind of just dumped out of a bag and however they landed was where he was ranking them. After the top obvious choices. 
As people have said, Dan’s finals are coming up.  Everything he is doing at least on offense is trying to cover a wart. He will have to deal with it in the next 12 months.

Sometimes it' about what you DON'T do. I'm not sure what the future holds for BY, but DMo didn't make the situation worse by overpaying a declining vet or reaching for a mid-tier draft pick. Nor has he extended BY beyond picking up his 5th year option as insurance. Sometimes when you get handed a poo-sandwich you just have to take a bite and hope that something better is being served tomorrow.
