It is tiresome. I agree. I am tired of talking about him for sure. Year four now of we don’t know what we have and the anxiety of even more years being tacked on.

I wish we had something else to discuss.  A different QB lol.

There's plenty of other things to discuss. This is the most talented roster we've had in a long time.

That's true and we're definitely going to hear more about it as summer progresses.

But at the end of the day all of the progress we've made on the roster as a whole will only matter if our passing offense can emerge from the basement of the NFL. In 2023 it was 32 out of 32 in 2024 it was 30th out of 32 and last year it was 26th out of 32. And early in the season we relied heavily on a career year from Rico Dowdle who is no longer on the roster.

This is only reinforced by the fact that we (depending on how one views it) effectively took playcalling out of Dave Canales hands and brought in another offensive mind.

The elephant in the room isn't going anywhere no matter how much we may not like it.

People were discussing the new backup QB in comparison the the starter.
Neither has anything close to a cannon.
Video was posted of them throwing.
If people can’t be free to express their opinions without being put on a list of posters who have ruined this place we have a bad situation here. People trying to silence  criticism of the QB.

Maybe actually post about the other players instead of about the other posters. That is where it went off the rails.

Again, Bryce is QB1 this season. In my opinion, his last. The fact that he sucks won't prevent me from enjoying the growth of the remainder of the roster.

You say that as if we - the guys on the list - can’t enjoy the same thing. We can and we do.
Here is some non Bryce poo.

I don’t have a ton of hope for Wallace  but the coach speak is pumping him

Brooks. Etienne even. Want to see them in pads. Same for Scourton and Hunter and of course the two FA prizes.
Wanna see where XL is and see the new guy

Can’t wait to see when they get out of their underwear and into pads. Until then it is probably premature to get too excited about rookies.

Yep. Gonna repeat this again, even though some may find it inconceivable...

There is a scenario where Canales could be fired midway through this upcoming season if he can't fix this offense/fix Bryce and we start 1-3 and lose after the bye week.

I just don’t see Canales getting fired in season. Will give you props if he is.
If it happens it happens with Bryce and Canales both gone - after a disappointing season.

The thought of Bryce getting a third coach is too much of a reach for me.

If Canales gets fired mid season it's going to be extremely difficult to replace him with any coach, especially if Bryce is returning as guaranteed QB1, which may happen with that 5th year option in play. I'm not a big DC believer, but firing him AND keeping Bryce if he has a lackluster season would put us as the most undesirable coaching destination in the NFL. Any new coach would have to be given the freedom to pick the QB to fit his system. We don't need to repeat the Frank Reich debacle.

I don’t see things being bad  enough that that happens.
And if Canales does that kind of job, you don’t want to replace him in a tank year and get a bump from an interim coach. Like what happened in 2022. You rode him down to your new QB.

That is an imaginary scenario and things won’t be that clear in reality.
