Never seen any star wars never want to. Seriously, if I was told from work I could have a paid day off to stay at home to watch it I would be at work two hrs early. Same goes to anything else scifi or like Lord if Rings/ Harry Potter.

What if I told you Star Wars had two nearly naked men fighting and wrestling and forcing their crotches down on the others face>?

I understand people not liking Star Wars. Some people just hate all things sci-fi/fantasy. I love sci-fi, but I think fantasy is kind of fruity. I grew up watching Star Wars and sci-fi movies so I guess that's the difference.

I think that watching Star Wars now would be boring to a lot of people, because everyone is used to post MTV ADHD cutting. The opening Star Destroyer scene set the tone for the whole movie in a way people were absolutely unprepared for, but these days kids would be thinking, "OK, when are all the hundreds of fighters going to come out of the ship?" three seconds into the shot.

When Star Wars came out, people felt that the pacing was frenetic, but it's pretty slow by todays standards.

In this way it's kind of like Gone With the Wind or Steamboat Willie - yeah they indroduced a whole new era of filmmaking that everything else is based on, but the methods are taken for granted now.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
