The difference was we weren't swindled on Jake, we didn't give up the farm on Jake, and we didn't attempt to reinvent the wheel to prop Jake up.

We are only bringing over topics and posts from the past calendar year. The tinderbox is being set on fire and rolled off a cliff. All it ever did was made this place feel horrible all while changing approximately 0 minds in 20 years. 

 

Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year?

i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?

If they have had a comment in the past year they should be ok.
