Date Ideas

Feel a great thread coming on. Throw out good date ideas here, either ones you've done or are thinking about. You can be married or not, but who doesn't love a fresh date idea!

Here's one, and it's pretty cheap. Take him/her to the Fresh Market, or one of those semi-alternative/organic grocery stores. Make sure they have a lot of free samples. Arrange to cook dinner later, and try all the samples. Tell your partner to close their eyes, and ask them how this tastes (keep your mind out of the gutter boys). Indulging in the senses makes for a great date. Then afterward you can buy what you liked and make dinner!

Well if you have a good sense of humor and she does too, it won't matter. If you aren't comfortable enough with her to laugh at yourself in front of her...maybe it's time to move on.

Eff that! In this hypothetical, she's smokin' hot. I'd rather just go places where people mutter under their breath, "She could do a lot better than that guy!"

Sounds like someone who knows...So are you saying you are ugly and know how to deal with the situation?

hot or not.... DINNER, absolutely not.. MOVIES, fug no.. TYPICAL poo, out the window..

for me, it all depends on her personality..

one girl I took on a date was independent, confident, and competitive, we were able to talk poo to each other and have a good time.. took her to an indoor go-cart track.. was fun as hell...

taken a few to a comedy club.. have a few drinks, laugh for an hour.. if they like to dance, we are already downtown: head to a club.. endorphins are flowing, all is right with the world.. get comfortable being physical in a comfortable atmosphere.. if she isn't into that, hit up a bar and carry on..

all that typical date stuff can come later...

Edit: side note, don't be a dumbass and take a girly girl to a go-cart track.. be smart..

    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
    • Inappropriate relationship with a team staffer, followed up with some stalking behavior, and ultimately a felony home invasion charge from a visit at her apartment that culminated in him threatening her life and his as well.
