Looks like Cincy May Be A Trade Partner Now

They might as well go ahead and get something for Palmer, but would he be willing to come here?

If they would trade picks with us and send us Palmer, I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat. I recall they had their eye on Pike at one point (remember a story about us being afraid to release him so we could sign him to the PS because Cincy was watching him) so maybe we could sweeten the deal for them by throwing Pike in?

I always thought that Palmer would eventually return to the player he was before injuries but he hasn't and doesn't look like he will ever be the same. I would love to trade Cinci our pick for theres and a second rounder. They need a Qb and they might want to trade up ahead of Buffalo so they can get the Qb they want.

I don't want Palmer. If Clausen who is younger and a lot more mobile couldn't avoid pressure then we know that Palmer wouldn't last long under our line. Palmer reminds me of Drew Bledsoe when he played for Dallas in 2005.

I'm just saying he had a pretty decent O-line, his weapons included Cedric Benson who has been a solid runner for two years now, along with Jermaine Gresham(going to be a great TE), TO and Ocho who are both still damn good receivers. He's thrown 33 picks in the last two years for christ's sake. For the money he'll demand, he isn't worth it. So, I stand by my statement, DO NOT WANT
