Good news, and bad news

Good luck man. I was having stomach pain for like 8 months before they figured out my gallbladder didn't work so I know what you mean. Doctors take forever.

Well admittedly, I haven't had time to see the doctors or go to work because I've had to devote all of my effort to a crusade against my favorite football team making a draft pick that I don't like, even though I actually can't influence that decision at all.

Priorities, ya know

You could have myasthenia gravis. It is a chronic autoimmune disease. It is characterized by extreme muscle weakness that typically improves with rest and extreme weather conditions (real hot/real cold) can affect it. Bring it up to the doc. I mean, it may spurn an idea. It TYPICALLY effects males over 50, but it has been found in younger men (not sure of your age). I'm sure they took that into consideration with MS, since they are somewhat similar (in the muscle weakness), but they do differ as MS is a disease of the brain and spine and MG damages the receptors between your nerves and muscles.

Some common symptoms with MG are:

-Trouble breathing

-Blurry vision

-Trouble swallowing

-trouble talking

-trouble chewing

-trouble controlling facial expression

-fatigue

I just wrote an huge term paper on MG, so I'm firmly familiar with it. I doubt you have it if you don't have any other symptoms besides muscle weakness, but it is possible.

Of course, sleep apnea can also explain your current symptoms too. But, it is something to bring up in case they haven't thought of it.

Wonderful news! I hope it is something as "simple" as sleep apnea.

I know all about the hell of worrying. Sometimes just knowing what the hell is wrong can be a huge weight off your shoulders. I'm still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis. I'll know more in a couple of weeks when I go back, again.

Been praying for ya, Bunny.
