It is official that Bran is out of Season 5. The general thought is that they tried to film a couple scenes, but it just wasn't working out.

That doesn't mean he is out of the series. He's just undergoing a lot of training and stuff.

The producers have commented that they didn't want to get too far into advancing some of the storylines past where they are in parallel with events that they are still filming. They want to stick to a timeline that mimicks when things actually happen in the books. I expect we will get a lot of Arya, Dany, Jon, Tyrion, Jamie, and Cersei this season.

Also, back in 1999, GRRM confirmed we'd be seeing the Green Men and the Isle of Faces in later books.  This is where the first men-COtF pact was signed, in the middle of God's eye near Harrenhall, where Howland Reed visited, weirwood heavy, and where badass Addam Velaryon visited. Apparently it'll mean something and he said something along the lines of "I can't get anything past you guys".

I'm gonna find the link...I've got a few theories/predictions brewing.  Particularly being Bran greenseeing an important event in that forest with HR, Rhaegar, and Lyanna.

Only new Dayne info I saw is that one of them married Nymeria. I was hoping for more considering Elio is a huge Dayne fan.

I just find their history interesting being the only non-Valryian descendent family with known genetics w/purple eyes.  They have steel similar to Valyrian yet it's from a fallen star they named their crib after.

Plus, Ashara was the hottest in the 7, Arthur was the badass fighter, and overall I just think there's more to their lineage.  Not as important in the series and only a minor but potentially cool thing in the books.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
