Best Trade Scenario Opinion?

If you want Newton or Dareus you don't move at all. If you want Peterson you don't go down past three. Otherwise you risk losing him. By four you have to wonder if he will be there. General consensus is that you don't go down further than you are willing to have all your highest rated picks, gone in succession. Maybe you get lucky but you have to bet that you won't be, and everyone on your list is gone. As such I wouldn't go lower than 3 or 4 at the most. I just don't know what that would bring us. Seems to me that if it were enough it might be worth it. For me though I would stay. It isn't like we have had the opportunity to pick up whoever we want very often.

Matt Moore and #1 overall to Denver for all of their picks this year and next years first.

Round 1: AJ Green

Round 2: a DT

Round 1 next year: MATTHEW BARKLEY QB OF USC

I don't know if I want a USC QB, but since he's not a Carroll guy I'd take a look.

I won't be surprised to see Landri Jones from OU come out and I think he'll be good if we can't get Luck.

We trade the #1 pick to Buffalo for their 1st, third, and next year's 1st and 3rd. We then trade that #3 pick to Arizona (who wants to jump Cinci for Gabbert) along with our 3rd round pick for their 1st, 2nd, and 5th this year and 1st next year.

Miraculously Dareus slips to #5 where we take him with open arms. If not, we take whoever's left from Peterson, Green, and Jones

Ideally for me we trade down to 4 with the bengals and get their second this year and a third next year. I'm not seeing anyone giving up a first next year to move up. Bengals take Gabbert and we pick Green in the first then Locker in the second. After the CBA is settled we trade our original 3rd from next year to Cincy for Palmer. Not gonna happen but that would be my best case.. if were gonna draft a project it can't be at #1

Trade with Cincy. Pick up their 1st, 2nd, and 1st next year. Pick up (hopefully) Dareus with the 1st, pick up Kyle Rudolph with the 2nd, and next year (hopefully Cincy will be the worst team this year) pick up Luck with the 1st, and trade up with our annual 1st and some other picks to get Alshon Jeffery.

you know, I really do think that Alshon Jeffery has the tools to be a great NFL WR. I would definitely love to see him wearing a Panthers jersey when he comes out of college.

If we don't use the #1 on Newton, here is my dream trade scenario.

Trade with Washington

Washington gets

#1 overall (1st round)- I here they are high on Newton

Carolina gets

# 10 overall (1st Round)- Panthers could get a defensive tackle here in Nick Fairley or Corey Liuget.

# 41 overall (2nd Round)- Panthers could use this pick on a quarterback, maybe Colin Kaepernick or Andy Dalton.

# 144 overall (5th Round)- Use whoever or whatever

Future 2nd Rounder

That would leave us with the following picks

1. # 10 overall (1st Round)

2. # 41 overall (2nd Round)

3. # 65 overall (3rd Round)

4. # 97 overall (3rd Round)

5. # 98 overall (4th Round)

6. # 132 overall (5th Round)

7. # 144 overall (5th Round)

8. # 165 overall (6th Round)

9. # 201 overall (6th Round)

10. # 244 overall (7th Round)

That way the Panthers secured the maximum amount of draft picks possible and Richardson, Hurney, and company can practice what they preach by building through the draft.

Also, why are people still including players in trades? NO CBA means NO PLAYER TRADES
