Final Prediction for the number #1 overall pick

We won't take Newton because he is black. He is a risk. He has potential to be great. He played in a sucky spread he can't recall. He relies on his mental chambers. This board is racist and Cam newton is racist. One hit wonder. JR owns slaves. No one seems wants to trade up for Cam but believe us, Cam is worth the #1 pick. But we should trade down. QB bigger need than DT?, Pickles worthless or not coaching scheme. Vet, Newton start right away? Lockout first pick next year with luck. Cam= Otah v 2.0. Defense oriented new coaching scheme taking chances unlike Fox.

Did I miss anything?

Well we certainly wouldn't want to do anything to interrupt your continued mediocrity, so...ok, glad to help.

Thank you.. i appreciate it. Besides... i don't think Buffalo is a good place for someone that wants to be an entertainer and an icon. Maybe if he wanted to bartend...

Don't sell yourselves short.

Think of the possibilities...wings in Cammy Cam juice, or hey, he could achieve both entertainer and icon status with just one trip over the falls.

Final Prediction: Georgia WR AJ Green.

Cam Newton is years away from being ready to start and be effective. Not to mention we're already developing Clausen and Pike. I believe Hurney plans for Clausen to be our eventual starter. Until then, Moore or some other vet FA will be our starter. I think we'll give Moore another shot to start, with a vet FA QB waiting in the wings if he sh!ts the bed again. And I think he'll be throwing to Green/Smith/LaFell/Gettis/Shockey, with Otah back on the line. Moore can play very well if he get's the protection he needs.

PP - No reason to draft of a player of his caliber and ask him to backpedal in a zone and tackle the reciever after the catch. That's what he'd be doing, and he doesn't look as smooth as Gamble when he's asked to do it. No thanks.

Dareus - I wouldn't hate this pick. That being said, big experienced bodies can be found in FA.

Gabbert - The clear bust in this years draft. Calling it.

It's funny when you really think about it...Darin Gantt predicted the othe day that their is no chance the Panthers select Gabbert number one overall. Wouldn't it be hilarious if they actually did? Think about it...it's well established that Gabbert has a high football IQ, he has an above average arm and more importantly in the NFL he is accurate. He is mobile...he has protypical size...the only thing that really bothers people are he stats from the spread. Maybe we should worry...but I watched him play Oklahoma and he was exceptional. Then you look at Cam...he is a project, he is going to have to learn a lot about the passing game..."36" will never be a play. He seems like a good kid but he already acts like a superstar...he talks about Cammy Cam Juice and other comments that don't seem well thought out. He does have superior athletiscm...but something Hurney said the other day makes me stop and think...he mentioned something about the first pick being someone who represented how they want to win football games. Maybe that means in the trenches but maybe it means have an exceptional QB behind center.

When looking at the two is it really even a question? One final thought...Rivera hyped up Phillip Rivers quite a bit coming in...which QB reminds you of Rivers in terms of playing style? I think Rivera wants a guy like Gabbert...it's also odd that little to no word has come out about Gabbert...then again everything centers around Cam these days.

I had a dream a couple of nights ago we took gabbert. We could probably trade down and still be able to take him. I really dont know though. The word is out that the Bengals and the Cardinals have a lot of interest in him. I just dont know if he will fit that offensive scheme we are trying to do.

I also think Ryan Mallett kind of reminds Rivera of Phillip Rivers.
