IF we took Newton over Gabbert... Hurney should be fired. Happy Easter. Newton could not even remember a play call, just numbers.. he was all over the place, just not good. UGH!

IF we took? Did you go into the future and see that Gabbert was the pick. Or did you mean to say, IF we take? Past and present tense my friend. ;)

Also yes, the offense ran at Auburn was nothing more than numbers. If you do not believe me I can post proof. There for by saying 36 he could remember a play call. Just thought I would clear that up.

If you think using numbers to run an offense is stupid well then I have a surprise for you. I was reading the Bills boards and someone made a post of how Oregon runs their* offense. You know Oregon, the team that lost to Auburn in the championship.

So are the QB's for Oregon even less intelligent than Cam?

I kinda suspect "long tail" play calling involving dozens of random terms is pretentious, stupid, confusing and likely unproductive. And, more to the point, probably not used all that much, if at all, in games. I think that crap is mostly spouted off to amaze fans.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
