First wedding anniversary coming up

Once I get approval from inlaws and my stepson and wife to watch the kids, where should I go? This will be a 3 day thing (leave later Friday AM, return Sunday afternoon

Thinking about Vegas although weekends are really expensive. Don't know much about the different hotels.

We both like going to Boone but we've done it twice.

Don't really want Myrtle. Charleston is possible. Kind of leaning towards flying somewhere to really get her out of town for a couple of days.

Any personal experiences/recommendations?

Don't know budget...

we did a (pre-kids) quick trip to Boston and rented a car and drove to Kennebunkport to a B&B. Ate great. Cool weather (mid-June). She was into hitting the little antique shops on way up. Came back to Boston and stayed at the Lennox (had a deal for two nights that was cheaper than a single at cheaper hotels). Walked Boston...ton to see. Saw Yanks/Red Sox game. Great trip.

    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
    • Hoping someone tells us Bussi was in the starter's crease for the morning skate. Otherwise, place your 1st shot- 1st goal bets! Any closer to a deal that could land a 2C in Trocheck or Brayden Schenn? Or land a winger in Alex Tuch or reach for Jordan Kyrou?
