to NOT be a fan of this team anymore?

Are you simply a fan because they are in NC and so are you?

Do you like what they represent? Do you like a certain core of players?

Do you think you are the truest of fans out there and will always be a Panther fan no matter what?

Does the team have to do anything to earn your fandom?

I was young when the Panthers were founded, went to all of their home games for the first 8 seasons and never had a team to root for prior to their inception. Its pretty much in my blood to root for this team regardless of how bad we look at times. It's the only team in the NFL I want to root for.

thats how they first became my fav team.

In all honesty if they moved to LA and we never got a team in carolina then I would still be a panthers fan.

Once a new team comes to the carolinas I dunno what I would do. The reason I became a panthers fan first was because they were the carolina panthers.

Seems like a lot of people so far are just fans because they are local.

They don't have to do anything else but be in your city to earn your fandom and your dollar?

Thats not true, I live in carolina now but I am originally from Dallas and am still a cowboys fan as my number 2 team. But living in the place with your team helps create an "us against the world" mentality. I can become a fan of another team that doesnt reside in Carolina, but if my team left, then the insult would be too much to handle.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
