This is where it will get interesting and I think Riveria not Hurney will drive who we pick.Riveria has basiclly 3 years to contend in the NFC South. Some of the teams can go for development projects but we need impact players.

I expect us to trade up but hopefully with better results than last year.Just say know to tweeners and go after a position of need.I think we should address wr in FA being we need a veteran stud and we do not know the status of SSmith. If we trade up I think these guys may be in play:

CB AAron Williams

DT Paea

DE, Allen Baily

OT marcus cannon

Who will it be and which is the position where there is greatest need.I think it should be a CB if we trade up with DT a close second

Rivera may have more input than Fox did, but our selections will be made by the scouts and our front office. I would say Rivera probably had more input on the first selection than the later rounds because selecting a polarizing figure like Cam Newton gives the franchise a face and clear direction for the coaching staff.

Aaron Williams is a safety in the NFL.. safety is not a big need. If we trade up, it will be for a DT. Marvin Austin and Stephen Paea would be the only options to trade up for. Otherwise we stay put at the top of the 3rd and take the best DT available.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
