I was actually thinking about that the other day. When i was studying construction at clemson i took some architecture classes too. It took 5 years in the program to get a grad degree. You can't get your license without a grad degree. If you had a bachelors in something else it took 6 years.

I'm really confused about why Luck stayed because it will take tons of commitment to even have a marginally successful career. There's no way he can do both.

I think he just wanted to avoid the lockout mess and not play for the panthers.

He would not have made it past 3. Buffalo really liked him. The talk about going defense in Buffalo came after it became fairly obvious we were drafting him.

Of course I am only speculating.

Buffalo didn't take a QB no, but if Newton was there, they would have at the very least thought twice. He might have saved them from moving to Toronto. (ok maybe not that last part)
