Funnel cloud trying to form in my neighborhood last night

We had some nasty storms roll through DFW last night... I took this picture around 8pm from my driveway... It never could get fully formed, and eventually blew away, but we had many of these (some did touch down, so they're reporting) last night, and the hail (that I personally picked up) was a little smaller than a tennis ball... The news was showing some softball sized hail... It was pretty wild...

I saw a cloud similar to that one North of Winston Salem last night. But from the angle, it was hard to tell if it was a true funnel cloud or just an odd looking cloud. I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

It never could fully form, but it sure as hell tried... EMS was in the neighborhood watching the thing, waiting to see which direction they needed to go in case it touched down...

Glad your are safe. I was too close to a tornado about a month ago that was actually on the ground and it is very scary.
