Video: Beason interview on player workouts and Cam

Gettin my Madden lingo down... Let's see if I still got it...

BEASTIN'!!!!!! <----- I yell it out everytime he makes a play, which is often! Between that and the Panther Growl... It's pretty intimidating on your opponent. That tip is free, and all of you should add it to your smack talk during Madden.

As for the video... "it won't be like last year, I can tell you that"

I think he's speaking more to the point of our 2-14 record... And the fact that he said in a previous interview that Cam was very impressive leading the offense during the drills. So I think that he's speaking to two points... The aforementioned... And the fact that he already likes Cam's leadership abilities and his ability to run the O.

He will speak highly of our coaches no doubt, but he hasn't been given the real opportunity to see them In action yet. This team is full of swag and High hopes. I sincerely believe that it will translate into success on the field.

he was obviously talking about our record.. he makes it sound like last year was an enigma (rightfully so). we had a rookie QB last year, and again this year, so maybe he sounds reassured due to a change in coaching.

If there is any doubt in anyone's mind that is the heart, the soul, and the unquestioned leader of this team, then you have no business being on these forums.

Remember when everybody was Bitchin about him holding out for his contract, and they were worried he wouldn't be good!?

Morons!

Never underestimate the swag of a player from The U... Especially on the defensive side of the ball!

Btw, I agree whole heartedly with your post.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
