Yes, but because I have kids. Although it would be hard to come to terms with personally, it would be nice to know I had time to line up everything to make sure they were well taken care of and prepared for life when I passed.

Randy Pausch's "Last Lecture" is the reason I would want to know. He handled it perfectly. Oddly enough though, the lesson it taught is the exact opposite if I remember correctly. More of a live for today and without regrets lesson.

no point in thinking long term when I only have the short term left. I'd move to Costa Rica or Amsterdam or some place other than NC and live it up.
