According to Adam Schefter, the Sucaneers offered Hanyesworth more money than the Skins but he turned them down....

They cleared all that cap space, by in part cutting the face of the franchise like he was an undrafted rookie FA to get Hanyesworth and they come up short, all I have to say is: BAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

I know some ppl dont understand why we would want to trade for Boldin because Jake only loves throwing to Moose and Smitty, but instead of letting our own division rival sign him, why not trade Pepp to Zona for Boldin and a pick? Instantly the best offense and incase of an injury, god forbid, to anyone on our offense, we would have insurance. Moose would become our #3. Defense would need work but come on, it would be good enough to get us to the Super Bowl.

We need to make sure we have a defense that can handle receivers like Boldin, not sign players like him for fear he'll go to a division rival.

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.

I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
