Haven't read through the entire thread but I see him revolutionizing by his swagger and the fact that I think he will be an entertainer and people will love to watch him the way they did MJ, Tiger, Magic, etc. He will be the greatest panther to ever don a uniform and a guy who makes them a household name around the league

They ran it up on us the first half. Cam was unstoppable running the play action for huge runs and passes. The score at the half was 31 - 17. Now lots of people looked at his stats and thought it was a great game for Cam, 210 pass yds 1 int, 198 rushing yards 4 tds. The play action was unstoppable.

However all those TDs and rushing yards came in the 1st half. The second half was almost 2 full quarters of 3 and outs for cam. His play action was figured out and UK eventually tied it up. with 2 mins left they finally got a drive together and drove down the field to kick a field goal ... like the patriots did against the panthers in the superbowl ... as time expired.

My take on him was. If UK can shut him down for a half, why cant the NFL, UK is on the bottom of the SEC and finished 6-6 that year. He seemed like a 1 trick pony, running that play action in college where his ability to run was his talent.

Lets see how he does in the pocket with a shoddy OLine.

If my "one trick pony" puts up 400 yards of total offense and 4 TD's and orchestrates a game winning drive at the end..... I will be pretty fugging happy. Football is played for 4 quarters.

That is like me saying Cam played poorly in the first half of the Bama game and the second half of the Kentucky game so clearly he sux. :nonod:

Cherry picking which halves Cam played well in is not a very convincing argument IMO.

And I don't think our O-line is all that shoddy here in Carolina when Otah is healthy.

I dont think Cam will revolutionize the game, but I believe he can add something to it that nobody has seen before thats swagg. TheGreatestofalltimeCam hit the nail on the head. His swagg can translate into leadership ability. He has that charisma to lead his team and make them believe they can win. its just something about that excites you and the whole team. Cam is a very confident individual, confidence can take you along way. If you dont believe in yourself nobody would.Us in Carolina never had anybody of this type and it so much riding on this guy to be good.

I dont believe cam will revolutionize the game. But i truly believe he can revolutionize the quarterback position. Cam has all the gifts that a QB would want to have, he has special talent and physcial attributes meaning a strong arm been very tall and faster then i expected. Tell me one QB who wouldnt want to have any of those things.You might get one but not all. If cam wonts to be succesful its really up to him. He needs to improve in the passing aspect of the game, he needs to develope into a real pocket passer. Its not going to hurt him but only make him better as a complete QB. But we all have to realize that it is a process and its going to take time.But if he does be able to add that, then he will be able to utlize his running ablities when he wants to. Not because he cant pass but just can run.

I believe his key to success would be if he works hard enough and learn the game, the mental aspect of the game. He needs to learn to read coverages if he doesnt know how. He needs to also learn whats the point of running a certain particular play and why is this the best play to beat a defense. Peyton Manning does this all the time. Thats why he is the hardest QB in the league to gameplan for.

Am im saying that one day cam will be able to do all this stuff no. But I believe if he really sets his mind to it and develop into a good passer not only passer but leader Cam can be a good QB in the NFL and our team can be competitive year in and year out in the toughest division in football.

Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, ect. Plenty of QBs excite their team and make them believe they can win. How is Cam's "swag" adding anything to the game?

Players like Young, Vick, and Mcnabb revolutionized the game with their game breaking abilities. ie: scrambling, running, and making plays outside of the pocket. (Aaron Rodgers fits the mold too)

Cam is a physical specimen that the Quarterbacking World has never seen. He has a rocket arm, and the speed of your average Wideout/RB/Skills Player to boot.

Once he rounds all of that out into a complete package he'll be a force to be reckoned with. imho his lowest ceiling is a Mcnabb clone.

His highest would be a solid combination of Mcnabb, and Big Ben with more speed.

Let Vick be Cam's size all the while retaining his 4.2 speed, we'd all be clamoring as to how he's the Jordan of Football.

He ran off a 19 play 7:00 minute drive to win the game and personally accounted for 74 yards on that final drive. So he only really played bad in the third quarter and a little bit of the fourth if you are being honest.

I remember this term being thrown around a lot before we drafted him. I still have really figured out what makes him so special in those terms.

Manning is like a hybrid OC/QB that's revolutionary.

Vick is one of the most mobile quarterbacks ever but he can also throw the ball, that's revolutionary.

Cam just seems like Culpepper, McNabb, Freeman, or Young(Steve and Vince) kind of QB. I can see him being very good even HoF, but I don't see how he is going to change the way football is played. Seems like he's just going to be really good.

I think his ability to extend plays and Smith's(if he stays) tenacious desire for the ball could turn into something ridiculous.

A mobile QB that utilizes the read option as a major weapon playing in the Super Bowl.
