James Harrison is an idiot.

Awesome if you are 11 years old but a grown man in a national article going out to millions??? Seriously?? He threw everyone under the bus but surely didn't mention that in the Superbowl he had a single tackle which was the one sack he had. Otherwise he didn't do anything at all. And surely nothing to sit in judgement about others about.

If I were the Steelers I would release him, no team needs a player that throws their own teammates under the bus in the press. He is an embarrassment to football and just reinforces how ignorant some football players are.

And if I were Goddell I would sue him for everything he is worth and suspend him from the league. The only reason he might not is because it would look retaliatory to suspend him since most of his derogatory remarks were about Goddell.

I meant awesome in a "watch that psychopath" kind of way. Kind of like, how creative and derogatory can they get? Everything I've read from Harrison in the past suggests to me he isn't the brightest bulb in the box, but he talks a lot of sh*t. In fact, didn't the Steelers say part of why he kept getting cut had something to do with his inability to grasp their concepts defensively? And the way he plays and then blows up at the press has suggested to me that he has a few screws loose, which I enjoy spectating, lol.

Listening to him talk is kind of like watching this guy talk - it's awesome because you don't know what going to come next:

Question, wouldn't you guys be a bit angry if Jon Beason called Cam a hype machine?

Probably, it depends... Beason is a different kind of guy though and I don't ever see that happening. If Beas has a problem, I see him saying the right things to the press and then going directly to the person he has a problem with and addressing it to them. He's the LEADER, not just the captain of our team.

That's why it's entertaining because it's not our team. He just pops off at the mouth with little regard for who he drags into it.

lmfao he took a massive poo on Goodells face

Harrison is a dumbfug for saying this but I can't disagree with any of it. Goodell is ruining football I don't see why he should be immune to criticism(although some of it is a bit extreme).

Didn't he call Peppers out through the media two years ago?

I know a Steelers friend who thinks he was right on every count.. however, she is an idiot.

-hate Ben all you want for off the field issues, but he did a pretty good job rallying after the fact and seemed to do/say all the right things last year. Get over it, you have a 2 time SB winner.. you're a f**king idiot.

-Mendenhall was an extremely solid back last year. he fumbled 2 times. get over it folks.

-Goodell, I don't like some of the poo he's trying to pull.. especially the 18 game BULLSHIT... however, helmet-to-helmet is a much needed rule.. even though, they are getting carried away with what constitutes helmet-to-helmet though..

The guy that did the interview was on SC this morning and was supposed to be on the early afternoon SC as well. He said some of the stuff JH said was just venting while they were in the car driving to a workout or something like that. He also said that since this story has blown up he has gotten tons of calls and emails from NFL players that feel the same way about Goodell and how happy they are that he had the stones to say it. Interesting enough was the photoshoot that accompanied the article and shows Harrison topless with his arms crossed holding two pistols looking really pissed off. Doesn't help his image any. Harrison also said Goodell was racist because he says he slammed Vince Young down on his head and got a $5K fine, but barely touched Drew Brees and Brees flopped and he got fined $20K.

It doesn't surprise me that a number of players dislike Goodell. He is trying to clean things up and is fining players to accomplish it. I can't believe anyone who gets a big fine would like it or the person who doles it out. I would think with 1500-2000 players that at least 10% of them wouldn't like him. Truth is they don't have to but you surely don't have to libel him and insult him in a national publication. It just speaks to how immature many players are and entitled to let what they think, come out.

As for being racist, I think that it would be pretty easy to see if there were trends.

No one has to like Goodell or their coach or owner but it takes rocks in your head instead of big stones to do what he did.

I don't ever pull for anyone to get injured, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if Harrison get injured and took a reality pill. Bashing your teamates in the media is beyond belief.

Not a big fan of Harrison at all, but in his defense a lot of players use the media in undesirable ways. Like someone already said here, Beason called out Peppers through the media, Smitty told Dwayne Jarrett in front of every Panthers media person to work on his game instead of doing interviews. We ignore this stuff when it's our favorite players on our team, and bash guys that we don't like who play for teams we don't like.
