Charles Johnson "Hopefully it's in Carolina"

If you say so

I have been wrong before....but I think people fail to realize that neither "wants" to be here to the degree fans think. They want to be here if they get paid here........both are about to make runs at either their best contract of there careers or the last good contract they will see. Carolina ain't gonna easily sign those two like most think IMO. These guys are more worried about setting the rest of their lives up vs. staying in Carolina ( a rebuilding team w/ nothing but a gamble at QB in a pass heavy league).

Its been reported that we are no longer going after Ray Edwards... We have 1 main DE in our sights... Charles Johnson will look nice in the red and black

No dumbfug you have your FA' offensive linemen in your sights.

DE will come second to that.

Please don't come in here without knowledge of your own damn team.

By red and black you mean Matt Ryan's blood on his black Panthers jersey.

So, now that there is a deal in place, when does the "3 day" FA period begin for signing veterans?

Hopefully, CJ and a few of our other guys are about to get signed.

There is no longer a 3 day period where teams can negotiate only with there players.

Starting tomorrow.. All teams can talk to all players

ya that's true.

but what money are you going to use to sign johnson?

Our beat writer found out that we are around 20 mil over the cap right now (not adding the extra 3 mil added to the cap.... We could cut a couple of guys (Jenkins, Jamaal Anderson, or Chauncey Davis) and get up to 26+ mil under the cap.

We have cap space to make an impact signing... The only problem is... If your team throw 10+ mil at Charles Johnson... Our GM is not going to over pay for him (even tho he is a very good DE) ... Jason Babin might be next on our list

For the guy pointing out we have lineman to resign... We have draft O-Linman the last 3 years getting ready for this.... We will resign one of our guys tho (hopefully Clabo)

going to have to use their limited available fiunds to pay for their oline to stick around. got to protect matty so he can get the ball to that WR they gave up too much for.

Without an OL to help out matty lol ice lol that team will go to shiit.

We have O-Lineman's and no disrespect but i feel like its our system more then the O-Line themselves.

If we can bring back Clabo... Our O-line shouldnt have a dropoff... We will actually be more athletic with Mike Johnson... Meaning we can actually start running screen plays (Use Jacquizz Rodgers quickness)

    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
    • oh now that's what you call Mother Fiuggure fans the ones that always have this fierce protective shield around the team no matter if they win or lose  & to be honest there is nothing really wrong with being a Mother Fiugguer fan they just have a different meaning or sense of what a true fan really is                                                 ☺️
