The Carolina Panthers*have already signed an array of UDFA's through the first day of league activities. There are two in particular that seem to shine above the rest; UNC cornerback Kendric Burney*and Auburn receiver Darvin Adams.

As far as I'm concerned, all Panthers news is welcomed on this board. Bleacher Report, PFT, NJPanthers sources. I'll determine for myself what I believe to be bullpoo. I watch NFL Network, ESPN, go to PFT, FanNation T&R, and Bleacher Report. 99.9% of it is baseless speculation. Do I care? Hell no. Something Panthers related sparks my interest. You just gotta learn to take everything with a grain of salt. I don't generally believe Florio, Peter King, or the Worldwide Leader, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pumped to hear a Charles Johnson interview on First Take. It was a rare, and welcomed, opportunity to listen to a Panthers player for someone who doesn't live in the Carolinas and have a chance to hear players on local AM radio shows. So to those of you posting bleacher report articles or other speculative drivel, thanks.

      This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.

      None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.
