Training Camp Request

Thank you for asking. The secondary, specifically SS. I want to know if we are working Martin (or Pugh, or Godfrey) at CB and bringing in more of a true SS (so far, Payne and Considine sp).

If you watch WRs, would you give your impression of Warren, the WR from Central Missouri?

I'll be tweeting/posting pics all day tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm especially excited to see Cam play, obviously, but I'm also excited to see who plays RG, and who starts at DT and CB.

I'll be tweeting all afternoon/evening and I'll make another big writeup thread afterwards. And this is a good thread idea, I'll make sure to note the specific things you guys are interested in when I'm jotting away in my notebook tomorrow/tweeting. Probably no pictures though, I still just have a very crappy low-res cameraphone.

lol, the camera I'll be using isn't the greatest quality, but it's decent.

Just to save time, I'm not going to be taking pictures/tweeting from the Back to Football party. I'm going to get there around 530, about an hour or so into it, and just tweet from the practice.

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
