The replay starts at 10:30pm tonight, I love this movie. The story notes make it more interesting watching it again. I didn't know Richard Pryor was one of 5 writers for the movie he wrote all of Mongo's lines.

Still don't understand why a certain word is not heard in that movie on regular cable. If you can't hear it...it's just not funny.

They used to drop the farting, wasn't funny without it.

After everyone and their mother told me how funny this movie is, I finally watched it a month or so ago. I'm sorry -- but I didn't find this movie funny at all. I think it was probably funnier in its day than it is now. All the humor seems so crass and cheap.

After everyone and their mother told me how funny this movie is, I finally watched it a month or so ago. I'm sorry -- but I didn't find this movie funny at all. I think it was probably funnier in its day than it is now. All the humor seems so crass and cheap.

It ages well. Give it a few more viewings and note the best part, Wilder and Little and the interaction between them.

It is silly and sophomoric, but the drunk gunfighter and the underdog lawman combo is very well done.
