As I recall, back when he played, Bryan Cox had a misaligned finger as well. His middle one would stay up even when all the other ones went down.

I saw the segment on NFLN about Smitty being hurt and they started it out with "Panthers WR Steve Smith was carted off the field in training camp..." showing the video of him with his head down in the cart, making it seem like it was a big deal then they announced it was just for a dislocated finger. Worst over-hype ever.
