McClain and Stanford

I was most impressed by their effort on defense tonight. Maybe our CB situation isn't as bad as we thought? Or maybe our 2nd stringers are that much better than the Giants 2nd stringers?

Either way, I wanna wait until the 3rd preseason game to make a definitive judgment, but I like the effort that they're showing.

Just saw that breakup he had. I want to see how this translates to the next game where we'll see the starters out longer with a bit more of a gameplan

Stanford looked bad. Burney has looked better. The breakup Stanford had would've been a penalty if this were regular season.

i think stanford played pretty decent. better than i expected. McClain didnt give up much yards after the catch but i didnt feel like he was stickin to his man as tight as stanford was. Either way no need to freak out..both showing good potential

Burney likes to jump routes..after half a season they will adjust with a double move on his side..but I love his agressiveness.

He will be a great guy to have in the secondary, instincts are there.

Mcclain was in the right place and has a lot of potential...the pass rush will make the secondary all play better.

i would probably feel better about them if they were numbers 4-5 on the cb depth chart.it's still early & i really like burney, he just has a nose for the ball

Burney looked good, and Stanford was decent, def. got challenegd a lot. Mcclain was consistantly beaten tonight and i expect him to be cut..

Them boys played their hearts out tonight. They didn't look too bad. Hopefully they'll improve.

McClain IMHO opinion was getting thrown all over...Stanford looked better, but again just my opinion. Burney looked impressive in limited action..

Actually, if you saw the replay, you would see that Stanford never touched him. He just stuck his hand up near the wide outs hand at the last second causing him to lose focus.

Stanford, McClain, and Burney all played well. C.J. Wilson on the other hand did not. I really like what we have right now to be honest with you.
